Summer Festival

For the past seventeen years, the Illinois Chamber Music Festival has been offering a superior chamber music experience to high school and college students coupled with world class performers. Join us as we continue to grow and present the highest quality chamber music to Central Illinois. The Illinois Chamber Music Festival and Camp for strings, piano, winds, and harp will be held at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL on July 7 - 27, 2019. This program is designed for young musicians who wish to participate in intensive chamber music training. The schedule consists of daily coaching, rehearsals, master classes, and performances by students and faculty. Other studies and activities include musical theater, music history and theory, conversational Russian, international dance, and tennis. The summer concert series offers 15 performances by faculty, guest artists, and students. All concerts and masterclasses are free and open to the public. Costs include room and board.
